Nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Valpolicella, Verona, Veneto, our Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Classico Superiore is a true expression of the terroir. Cultivated in selected hillside vineyards in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, specifically in the Marano di Valpolicella valley, our grapes thrive in calcareous soils at elevations ranging from 200 to 350 meters above sea level. The hand-picked grapes, predominantly Corvina Veronese and Corvinone Veronese (80%), with a touch of Rondinella (20%), contribute to the unique character of our wine.  The journey begins with the vinification of fresh grapes, undergoing a 10-day maceration on the skins to extract the essence of flavor. The wine then gracefully ages until February in stainless steel and cement tanks. In a harmonious dance of tradition, our Ripasso technique sees the wine refermenting on the fresh pomace from the recently completed Recioto and Amarone fermentation. This meticulous process culminates in the creation of our distinctive "Ripasso."Maturation is an art, and our Valpolicella Ripasso is no exception. It gracefully matures in large oak barrels of 20-30-50 hectoliters for a year, imparting depth and complexity. Finally, the wine is refined in the bottle for an additional 4 months, achieving a perfect balance and harmonious integration of flavors.  Indulge your senses in the intense ruby red hue of our Valpolicella Ripasso. The spicy bouquet delights with aromas of ripe cherry and jam, creating a symphony of sensations. As you savor the wine, experience a dry, full, and soft flavor profile that caresses the palate, leading to a remarkably pleasant bitter finish.Immerse yourself in the elegance and tradition of Valpolicella with our Classico Superiore – a testament to the craftsmanship and passion that defines our winemaking. Elevate your moments with a sip of perfection. Cheers to the art of fine wine!
